OUR TEAM
HIGHLY TRAINED
Our staff are highly trained individuals from the field for Early Education. All staff are first aid, child protection trained and Garda vetted.
FOCUS ON THE CHILDREN
We continuously up skill and link in with other agencies to ensure that we can always offer the best for the children that attend our service.
Early Years Educators
Jeni Moore | Manager
I have worked in Early Childhood Care and Education since 2001, and I am passionate about providing children with positive experiences of relationships and early learning. I hold a BA Degree in Professional Development and Family studies, along with other certificates such as Triple P parent facilitator and Master Class in Infant Mental Health. I am also a Circle of Security Parenting facilitator.
Karen Moroney |Deputy Manager, Pedagogical Leader, Inclusion Coordinator
I am the Deputy Manager, Pedagogical Leader and the Inclusion Coordinator.
I have been working in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 2011.
Being the deputy manager allows me to combine a passion for early childhood education with meaningful leadership and community impact. This role allows me to support the developmental needs of young children while also helping to shape a nurturing, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment.
I have a degree in Early Childhood Care and Education and Diploma in Montessori education. I like to incorporate Irish Sign Language (ISL) into my practice. One of my teaching goals is to instil a love of reading in children and show respect for books.
Riitta McKee | Teacher
Hi my name is Riitta McKee and I am an Early Years Teacher. I have been working in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 2007 and have 30 years’ experience educating and caring for children. I gained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Care and Education and am passionate about introducing children to art, movement and nature.
Lisa Lyons | Teacher
Hi my name is Lisa Lyons and I am an Early Years Teacher.
I have worked in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 2002 and hold a FETAC 6 in Early Childhood Studies. I am very skilled in supporting children with additional needs and this gives me great satisfaction. I am particularly passionate about incorporating Occupational Therapy activities into my practice.
Christine Kelly | Early Years Teacher
My name is Christine Kelly and I am an Early Years Teacher.
I have been working in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 2013 and hold a Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education. I really enjoy working with children because children are so open and honest and every day brings something new and exciting. I especially enjoy doing gymnastics with the children in my classroom.
Caroline Kenny | Teacher
My Name is Caroline Kenny and I am an Early Years Teacher.
I have been working in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 1997 and hold a FETAC 6 in Early Childhood Studies. Working with children is very rewarding; you get back everything you put into them and more.
Celine Reid | Teacher
My name is Celine Reid and I have been working in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 1996 and hold a Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education. I am passionate about sparking children’s curiosity in learning about their world. Being outdoors is important in my teaching and encouraging children to love nature. I also have an interest in supporting children’s early literacy.
Jenny Kennedy | Teacher
My name is Jenny Kennedy and I have worked in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 2009 and hold a BA Degree in Early Childhood Teaching and Learning. My role in children’s early learning is very rewarding. I have a particular interest in incorporating sensory exploration into my practice and environment and have lots of fun with messy play.
Nicola Dempsey | Early Years Teacher
My name is Nicola Dempsey and I am an Early Years Teacher.
I have been working in Edenmore Early Education through Community Employment since 2020 / Aim support worker since 2024.
I have a QQI Level 6 in Early Learning and Care.
I really enjoy supporting the children grow and develop over their time here. I enjoy teaching the children new skills and having fun with art and messy play.
Shauna Mc Aney | Early Years Teacher
Hi my name is Shauna Mc Aney and I am an Early Years Teacher.
I have been working in the Early Years sector since 2019. I graduated in 2024 and hold my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education.
I am particularly interested in supporting children with additional needs and I am passionate about inclusion for all children.
Nicole Lynch - Early Years Educator
Hi my name is Nicole Lynch and I am an Early Years Educator.
I have worked here at Edenmore Early Education Centre since October 2025. I began working with children in 2015. I have a Fetac Level 5 in Early Childhood Education and Fetac Level 6 in special needs assisting.
I am passionate about inclusion for all children and learning through messy play and Art.
Karen O'Brien | Teacher
Hi my name is Karen O’ Brien and I am an Early Years Teacher.
I have been working in Edenmore Early Education Centre since May 2015. I have a QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education. When I am with children, I love to listen to their stories, offer plenty of hugs and have a lot of fun!

Maria Maher
Secretary
Hi, my Name is Maria Maher and I have been the Secretary in Edenmore Early Education Centre Since 2008. I have a FETAC Level 5 qualification in Office Skills and Payroll. I love being part of a wonderful team and supporting the children and their families.
Dina Nally
Cook
I am Dina Nally and I am the Centre Cook.
I’ve been working in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 2010 and I am trained in HACCP. My favourite part of my job is introducing children to new and healthy foods, encouraging them to try new things and making sure they leave with a full tummy. I also love to connect with families and share recipes with them.
