Our staff are highly trained individuals from the field for Early Education. All staff are first aid, child protection trained and Garda vetted.
We continuously up skill and link in with other agencies to ensure that we can always offer the best for the children that attend our service.
I have worked in Early Childhood Care and Education since 2007, and I am passionate about providing children with positive experiences of relationships and early learning. I hold a BA Honours Degree in Early Childhood Teaching and Learning, along with other certificates such as Therapeutic Art Therapy and Adult Teaching. I am also a Circle of Security Parenting facilitator, a Hanen Programme Leader and a Gold Standard Assessor in Sustained Shared Thinking and Emotional Well-being.
My Name is Caroline Kenny and I am an Early Years Teacher.
I have been working in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 1997 and hold a FETAC 6 in Early Childhood Studies. Working with children is very rewarding; you get back everything you put into them and more.
Hi my name is Riitta McKee and I am an Early Years Teacher. I have been working in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 2007 and have 30 years’ experience educating and caring for children. I gained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Care and Education and am passionate about introducing children to art, movement and nature.
Hi my name is Lisa Lyons and I am an Early Years Teacher.
I have worked in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 2002 and hold a FETAC 6 in Early Childhood Studies. I am very skilled in supporting children with additional needs and this gives me great satisfaction. I am particularly passionate about incorporating Occupational Therapy activities into my practice.
My name is Christine Kelly and I am an Early Years Teacher.
I have been working in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 2013 and hold a Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education. I really enjoy working with children because children are so open and honest and every day brings something new and exciting. I especially enjoy doing gymnastics with the children in my classroom
I’ve been the Deputy Manager here at Edenmore Early Education Centre since 2012 but I’ve worked here since 2002. I have a B.A in Early Childhood Care and Education. I love what I do; I have a passion for working with children and families. The first 5 years of a child’s life is where 90% of critical brain development occurs. It is a privilege and honour to be a part of this stage in their lives.
My name is Celine Reid and I have been working in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 1996 and hold a Level 6 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education. I am passionate about sparking children’s curiosity in learning about their world. Being outdoors is important in my teaching and encouraging children to love nature. I also have an interest in supporting children’s early literacy.
My name is Jenny Kennedy and I have worked in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 2009 and hold a BA Degree in Early Childhood Teaching and Learning. My role in children’s early learning is very rewarding. I have a particular interest in incorporating sensory exploration into my practice and environment and have lots of fun with messy play.
My Name is Karen Maroney and I am an Early Years Teacher and the Inclusion Coordinator.
I have been working in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 2011. Currently I am studying to complete my Degree Level 7 in Early Childhood Studies. I like to incorporate Irish Sign Language (ISL) into my practice. One of my teaching goals is to instil a love of reading in children and show respect for books.
Hi my name is Karen O’ Brien and I am an Early Years Teacher.
I have been working in Edenmore Early Education Centre since May 2015. I have a QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education. When I am with children, I love to listen to their stories, offer plenty of hugs and have a lot of fun!
Hi, I am Nicola and I joined Edenmore EEC in September 2021 as I began my Community Employment Scheme. I am enjoying my work, discovering my interests and skills working with children. I hope to begin my studies soon.
Hi, my Name is Maria Maher and I have been the Secretary in Edenmore Early Education Centre Since 2008. I have a FETAC Level 5 qualification in Office Skills and Payroll. I love being part of a wonderful team and supporting the children and their families.
I am Dina Nally and I am the Centre Cook.
I’ve been working in Edenmore Early Education Centre since 2010 and I am trained in HACCP. My favourite part of my job is introducing children to new and healthy foods, encouraging them to try new things and making sure they leave with a full tummy. I also love to connect with families and share recipes with them.
My name is Nadine Ronan and I am the Senior Cleaner for the Centre. I have also just completed a Community Employment Scheme (CE) which began in 2017. I love working here and I always enjoy interacting with the children when I visit the rooms.
